A Successful Water Campaign

“There is still enough water for all of us — but only so long as we keep it clean, use it more wisely and share it fairly.”
– Ban Ki-moon, UN Secretary General

In honor of World Water Day, 22 March 2015, Investors Trust teamed up with People for Care & Learning in an effort to raise donations for the purchase and distribution of water filters to communities who lack the resources. During our week long campaign, and thanks to contributions from our employees and Introducers, we raised water filters for more than 150 families in need of clean water.

Investors Trust matched the initial amount of funds raised by employees and Introducers, making the overall donation of 158 water filters. These filters will be dispersed throughout a community in Southeast Asia by our friends at People for Care and Learning.

Water is essential for all living things. By providing a community with clean water, we are not only supplying fresh drinking water, we are contributing to the development of sustainable agriculture and offering a better means for sanitation.

From the Investors Trust Responsibility Team, we greatly appreciate the support of our employees and financial advisors. A huge ‘thank you’ to all those who made our Water Campaign such a great success and for contributing to the spread of clean water to all parts of the world. Together, we are making the world a better place.

We encourage everyone to value the availability of clean water throughout each and every day.
