Earth Hour 2016

Earth Hour is more than just a one day event. It is a movement for change. By harnessing the power of the masses, Earth Hour has achieved great environmental impact and continues to unite people for better protection of the planet.

Climate change is a global concern and the spread of awareness is necessary for the future of the planet. This Earth Hour, we challenge each and every one of you, no matter where you are, to cut the power for one hour on Saturday, March 19, from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. local time. We hope you accept this challenge and contribute to the global mission to save Mother Earth by reducing our energy-use while spreading light on a global issue.

Let’s be a part of the change. Cut off the power and enjoy a candlelit dinner, an outdoor bonfire or a star-gazing walk around the neighborhood. However you choose to celebrate, share your Earth Hour experience by using #earthhour and #changeclimatechange on social media.
