How to Regroup Halfway Through the Year

The month of July marked the official halfway point of the 2019 calendar year and with August coming to an end, it’s the perfect time to recap and regroup on the goals you set while counting down to midnight a few months ago. There’s no shame in admitting you may have let your goals slip by, and you still have four months to ensure you’re proud of your progress by the time January approaches.

Celebrate the Small Wins

When big-picture goals are your focus, the small wins may blend into the background. It’s important to reflect and take time to acknowledge how far you’ve come. Minor milestones can boost your motivation and sustain positivity.

De-Clutter

De-clutter your space. This can translate to your living space or your mental space. If junk you no longer need is filling up your home, donate those items to charity so you can work more effectively in an organized space.  As for your mental and emotional clutter, allow yourself to let go of the past and have a clear view on the future.

Stick to Your Goals

Once you have a plan, stick to it. Adjust as needed but make sure you’re not only setting goals but creating the path to complete them. Think about the areas in your life that you want to make progress in and schedule the steps it’ll take to get them crossed off your list.
