Investors Trust contributes to the International Coastal Cleanup

The International Coastal Cleanup is the world’s largest volunteer effort to clean up the ocean and waterways. On Saturday, September 20th of 2014, Investors Trust hosted two Coastal Cleanup groups on opposite sides of the world.

In Miami, employees, friends and families met in Crandon Park on Key Biscayne, Florida to support the International Cleanup. The group of about 30 individuals spent several hours walking the beaches and park grounds collecting any trash or tangled debris on the way. Not only did Investors Trust host its own group promoting employee engagement, but it also offered extra support by acting as the site coordinator for all of Crandon Park, supplying more than 200 volunteers with the necessary cleanup supplies. The Company recognized its own volunteers by offering cool beverages and snacks to its group.

On the other side of the world, Investors Trust volunteers gathered on the beaches of Hong Kong to contribute to this worldwide effort. The group might have been small in number but mighty in its dedication to support the coastal cleanup. From the Miami coast to the Hong Kong beach, the Investors Trust Cares team made an important effort to improve the beaches and coastal ways surrounding the regions of its business.

We are proud to support efforts of conservation and sustainability that also engage the employees and their families. We look forward to many more opportunities where we can gather together in support of a good cause while offering activities for the whole family. — Ariel Amigo, Chief Marketing Officer at Investors Trust.
