Donations from our recent office move were gifted to UrbanPromise Miami.
Recently, one of the administrative offices of Investors Trust moved to a new location in a “greener” executive building. Not only did this move complement our newly established Corporate Responsibility Program, but it also granted the Company an opportunity to give back to the local community.
Like any major move, one must eliminate the clutter and remove excessive materials in order to accommodate all essential elements in the new space. As we prepared for the move, we quickly realized the overwhelming amount of office supplies, furniture and equipment that would be left behind. Constantly evolving as a responsible company, Investors Trust recognized this as an opportunity to re-purpose the unnecessary items and bestow new ownership to those in need. After many months of packing and preparing for the move, Investors Trust was pleased to provide UrbanPromise Miami with a donation of office materials, equipment and furniture amounting to $2,291.13.
“On behalf of UrbanPromise Miami, I would like to thank the Investors Trust for the generous donation on October 16, 2014 of furniture and supplies.” – Mark A. Reyes, Co-Executive Director at Urban Promise.
“It is an honor to work with and support UrbanPromise Miami in its mission to enhance the relationships and lifestyles of the youth in a community where many children are neglected or lack the materials to succeed and grow as an individual. We are pleased to pass along items no longer needed in our office to this wonderful organization that can use these donations to enhance their space and strengthen their mission.” — Tonio Aleman, Chief Operating Officer at Investors Trust Administration, LLC.
