Investors Trust Donates to the World Vision Indonesia Emergency Relief Fund

Following the magnitude 7.5 earthquake that struck Indonesia’s Central Sulawesi province on Sept. 28, 2018, Investors Trust made a $10,000 donation to the World Vision Indonesia Emergency Relief Fund. World Vision is a leader in emergency relief, with decades of experience and an established network of staff ready to respond to any type of disaster, anywhere in the world.

More than 2,000 people are known to have died and at least 2,500 are seriously injured, according to the Indonesia disaster management agency. About 1.5 million people in Central Sulawesi are likely affected. With about 65,000 houses damaged or destroyed, more than 330,000 people are homeless or without adequate shelter. World Vision staff are on the ground and have been providing food, water and other relief items to meet their urgent needs and help them rebuild their lives. — World Vision
