“Water is important to the mechanics of the human body. In fact, all the cell and organ functions that make up our entire anatomy and physiology depend on water for their functioning.”– Free Drinking Water
We all know that water is vital for the health of our bodies but many of us struggle to consume the recommended amount. So, here are some tips to help keep you healthy and hydrated!
Take pulls between bites. Slow down during meals and take sips of water between bites of food.
Chug up. Sometimes you just need to skip the sipping and turn up that bottle of water.
Rise, drink water, and shine. Drinking water shortly after waking up provides great benefits to your body, such as jump-starting your metabolism, fueling your brain power and helping your body flush out toxins.
Spruce up your water. Add slices of cucumber or citrus to a pitcher of water and refrigerate to have at your leisure. Close your eyes, sip and soak in the spa-like atmosphere.
Alternating beverages. Match every drink with some H2O. Be sure to drink a glass of water before reaching for a second cup of coffee, another round of drinks or soda refill.
