We filled our first box of books

On July 15th, Investors Trust invited all Miami employees to contribute to a book drive running until Aug. 1. We were stunned by the immediate response to this corporate effort. In less than three weeks, our boxes were overflowing with books of all kinds. In an office of 30 employees, we were able to raise over 100 books in just a few weeks.

All of the books collected go to support our partnered organization, Room To Read (RTR), in spreading literacy programs around the world. In collaboration with Better World Books, all of the donated books are resold and the proceeds are sent to support Room To Read’s area of greatest need. Furthermore, we have a established a partnership with Room To Read to aid literacy programs in South Africa.

To all who were able to contribute to the Book Drive, we greatly appreciate your donations. As we continue to expand the Investors Trust Responsibility program, we are encouraged by your recent contributions, and we anticipate the impact of our collaborative efforts in the future.

We are extremely proud to work with such a generous group of individuals and are excited to implement a program that supports the philanthropic efforts of the employees and the company. While we are continuing to build this program, we must express our gratitude for making this initial corporate effort such a great success.

We hope for many more opportunities to join forces for a greater good. Together, we can make the world a better place!
