PRESS RELEASE: INVESTORS TRUST DONATES $20,000 TO MEXICO IN RESPONSE TO THE RECENT EARTHQUAKES

Following the horrific earthquakes that shook Mexico this past September, Investors Trust, true to its commitment to help others, quickly responded with a large donation of $20,000 to the GlobalGiving Mexico Earthquake Relief Fund.

The first earthquake struck off the southern coast of Mexico on Sept. 8, killing 90 people. And, shortly after, on Sept. 19, a 7.1 magnitude earthquake shook throughout Mexico City and the surrounding communities killing more than 200 people and devastating masses of land and infrastructure.

Investors Trust quickly reacted by contributing to the GlobalGiving Mexico Earthquake Relief Fund supporting emergency relief efforts in the region. Initially, all donations to this fund will go directly to the first responders and then they will transition the funds to a long-term recovery plan with local groups and organizations. GlobalGiving will be providing updates on how the donations are used, which will be relayed to the field in the coming months.
